The central point of the program is dedicated to important female figures present in the biblical stories.
The proposal highlights the co-presence of Jewish and Christian sacred music by composers such as Alessandro Stradella, Benedetto Marcello and Cristiano Giuseppe Lidarti.
This repertoire is enriched by compositions by G.F. Handel and P.A. Locatelli who contributed to the knowledge of Benedetto Marcello’s Psalms in Europe.
For this program, the participation of one or two singers and six instrumentalists are expected to be present.
