Leone Sinigaglia artist without borders

Performance by: Rosario Tedesco, actor, narrator – Lydia Cevidalli, violin – Laura Vergallo Levi, piano

The performance brings to the stage the reading of the epistolary exchanges between Leone Sinigaglia (1868-1944) and the greatest composers, musicians, artists, singers, writers and writers from all over Europe of his time, highlighting their connections. An eclectic man, who felt deeply Italian and from Turin, but at the same time European and cosmopolitan, Sinigaglia has been almost forgotten in our country, due to the years of anti-Semitic censorship. The project, which comes to life to remember Sinigaglia 80 years after his death, wants to bring the man to light, through an unpublished collection of letters, collected in libraries and archives throughout Europe, the United States and Australia. The readings will be interspersed with the performance of a selection of compositions by Leone Sinigaglia for violin and piano
