Jamiang Santi graduated with honors from the “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Milan under the guidance of Umberto Oliveti and Fulvio Luciani. He subsequently specialized at the Accademia Filarmonica in Bologna and the Accademia di Musica in Fiesole with Cristiano Rossi and Felice Cusano. At the “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Como he studied with Giuseppe Miglioli, graduating in viola in 2019 with honors and mention. He specialized with Davide Zaltron.
Since 2007 he has been part of the Quartetto Indaco, winner of the First Absolute Prize at the “Osaka International String Quartet Competition 2023” and finalist at the International Competition for string quartets “Premio Paolo Borciani” in 2017. Numerous collaborations with internationally renowned musicians, including Bruno Canino, Alexander Lonquic, Alessandro Taverna, Michele Campanella, Davide Formisano, Avi Avital.
In the field of ancient music Jamiang Santi is part of the ensembles Accademia Bizantina, Il Giardino Armonico, Academia Montis Regalis, Irish Baroque Orchestra and Abchordis. He holds the role of first viola in the Ensemble laBarocca of Milan and the Orchestra Milano Classica. Since 2021 he has collaborated as first viola with the Orchestra del Teatro Carlo Felice of Genoa.
