Lydia Cevidalli graduated in violin at the Conservatory of Milan and in baroque violin with Chiara Banchini, at the Centre de Musique Ançienne in Geneva.
In her concert activity she has collaborated for many years with Jordi Savall and other important musicians on the international scene.
In 1990 she founded the Ensemble Salomone Rossi, which she directs and with which she performs at important concert halls and international festivals and with which she has recorded various CDs.
She taught violin at the Conservatory of Milan, where she also took care of the organization of events for the Day of Remembrance.
