Andrea Vassalle began studying violin at the Fiesole School of Music. He graduated from the “L. Cherubini” Conservatory in Florence under the guidance of P. Crispo. He specialized in modern violin with G. Guglielmo and in baroque violin with F. Guglielmo, S. Barneschi and E. Citterio. He graduated in the two-year course in baroque violin under the guidance of S. Montanari and in viola under the guidance of G. De Rosa at the Civic School of Music “C. Abbado” in Milan. He was an active member of the L. Cherubini Youth Orchestra conducted by R. Muti and of the Accademia della Scala. He collaborates with various baroque ensembles. In 2013 he founded the Quartetto Delfico, a string quartet on original instruments. He is currently a professor of Chamber Music at the “Boccherini” Conservatory in Lucca.
