border_color=&#8221;#ffffff&#8221; border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>Ensemble Salomone Rossi<\/h2>\n<h2><strong>Musicians and patrons in eighteenth-century <\/strong><strong>Venice, an evening at Palazzo Giustiniani<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Instrumental chamber music and Psalms by Benedetto Marcello, marking 300 years since the edtion of <em>Estro poetico-armonico<\/em> (1724\u20131728).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The proposal comes from new musicological knowledge relating to the cultural activities at Palazzo Giustiniani, organized by Girolamo Ascanio Giustiniani, a Venetian nobleman, known for being the author of the texts of Benedetto Marcello&#8217;s <em>Estro poetico-armonico.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Psalms of Marcello will be presented with the original <em>Intonazioni ebraiche<\/em> contained in the famous collection which, from recent studies, appear to have actually been performed in some circles of noble Venetian intellectuals.<\/p>\n<p>The program includes arias from the Psalms alternating with instrumental music by various authors<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Three proposals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1 Instrumental music and Psalms for solo voices and choir by Benedetto Marcello.<\/strong><br \/>In collaboration with the vocal ensemble Odhecaton.<br \/>Arias from the Psalms by Benedetto Marcello interspersed with instrumental music by various authors (Giuseppe Tartini, Tommaso Albinoni, Antonio Vivaldi, Felice Evaristo Dall\u2019Abaco and Francesco Gasparini), according to the habits used in the musical Entertainments of the Venetian nobles and Academies.<br \/>With the participation of ten singers, vocal conductor and six instrumentalists.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2 Instrumental music and Psalms for many voices by Benedetto Marcello<\/strong><br \/>Arias from the Psalms by Benedetto Marcello interspersed with instrumental music by various authors (Giuseppe Tartini, Tommaso Albinoni, Antonio Vivaldi, Felice Evaristo Dall\u2019Abaco and Francesco Gasparini), according to the habits used in the musical entertainments of the Venetian nobles and Academies.<br \/>With the participation of a solo singer and six instrumentalists.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3 Chamber Arias and instrumental music from the first half of the eighteenth century.<\/strong><br \/>Arias and recitatives for solo voice, and instrumental music by famous composers such as Antonio Vivaldi, Giuseppe Tartini, Tommaso Albinoni, Felice Evaristo Dall\u2019Abaco and Francesco Gasparini.<br \/>With the participation of a solo singer and six instrumentalists.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">\u201cL\u2019Estro Poetico- armonico\u201d<\/span><\/strong><br \/><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Music by Benedetto Marcello, recording project<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Ensemble plans to record the Psalms of Benedetto Marcello&#8217;s <em>Estro poetico armonico<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In January 2021 the CD &#8220;<strong>Benedetto Marcello Psalms and Sonatas<\/strong>&#8221;
